Yesterday McKenna, Ma Purr Purr and i went to the feed store to get a new heat lamp for our 3 Chickens. We got there and Mckenna asked to see the puppy dog "miss kitty" so she played with her for a few minutes but then wanted to see baby pigs...which of course they don't have so the girl said we have baby chicks! Well.... I'm sure you can guess what happened after that. They are sooo tiny and cute--we just had to get some. Besides these chickens will lay white eggs and the chickens that we currently have lay brown and blue eggs. Of course we need white eggs too! Mckenna puts them in her wagon and carts them around the house like they are her baby dolls, she loves them and i do too except with they are loud when we are trying to sleep! Soo much fun, i recommend getting chickens for all little kids!! Didn't our town just pass a law saying you can have up to 4 hens in town in your back yard?! :) Go get some!!
